Check out the "REDEMPTION AT THE RANCH"​ weekend of events Memorial Weekend, May 21rd through May 25th where we will host four matches over the weekend, including ELR Light, ELR Heavy, ELR Open Field Style and a Hunter Match! Sign up for multiple matches and get a discount on the match fees (all meals are included for the weekend).

DMR's RIMFIRE Precision Rifle Matches will be 8 stages with a total round count of about 80. The stages are positional and target ranges will vary, like a traditional PRS match. The matches will be held at the Day Mountain Ranch Gun Range, located at 77 S. Spring Creek Rd, Preston, ID 83263. This is a skills match and does not count toward precision rifle series points.

DMR's Centerfire PRS Matches will be 8 stages with a total round count of about 80. The stages are positional and target ranges will vary, like a traditional PRS match. The matches will be held at the Day Mountain Ranch Gun Range, located at 77 S. Spring Creek Rd, Preston, ID 83263. Lunch is included with your fee and will be served at the end of the matches. These are skills matches and do not count toward precision rifle series points.​

ELR Steel Challenge Events: Experience Extreme Long Range (ELR) Shooting with DMR's Steel Challenge Series. Join separate matches that offer diverse terrains and conditions, enhancing your skills. With both Heavy and Light gun classes in some matches, participants can compete in multiple events, contributing to an overall ranking. Don't miss Redemption Weekend at DMR Ranch. It will be a duo of consecutive matches with lunch provided at each. Elevate your long-range shooting game with DMR.

Hunter Challenge Events: We have unmatched, challenging Hunter style matches with the most amazing views in a natural elk and deer habitat. The Hunter matches offer diverse terrains and shooting positions, conditions, angles and distances to enhance and test your skills. Matches will have approximately 8 stages with four targets at each timed stage. We will have light (under 12 lbs.) and standard (up to 16 lbs.) classes available for the matches. Maximum of .30 caliber.

SCHEDULE FOR THE REDEMPTION AT THE RANCH WEEKEND:
IMPORTANT NOTES: When you sign up for multiple matches, you will get a reduced fee for the matches. Lodging at a reduced rate for match participants will be available for booking March 1st.

• May 21-22nd (Thursday & Friday) - ELR Light & ELR Heavy Steel Challenge "Redemption at the Ranch"​
ELR Light will be held on Thursday, May 21st and the Heavy will be held on Friday, May 22rd at the ranch (meet at the Welcome Center) and ELR Light distances will go out to approx 2,400 yards (26 lbs max gun weight and 33 cal max). ELR Heavy distances will go from about 1,700 yards to 2 miles (Up to .50 caliber and guns up to 50 pounds). Each Match will have 6 targets with five shots per target. (approx. 30 rounds total). Lunch provided.

ITINERARY FOR REDEMPTION AT THE RANCH - HEAVY & Light ELR:
Check-in at the Welcome Center at 7:30 am. We will go to the Main Gun Range and allow time for Zero and Dope check and then we will shuttle up to the shoot location together. We will shoot the stages and then have Lunch and awards at the Resort Pavilion. If participants have signed up for the ELR Open Match, they can check in for that match after the awards.

• May 23-24th (Saturday & Sunday) - ELR Open Steel Challenge "Redemption at the Ranch" - Register Here
ELR Open will be held on Saturday and Sunday, May 24-25th (check-in and zero board will be Friday, May 23rd from noon-6:00 pm). The match, meals and award ceremony will be at Day Mountain Ranch & Resort. The stages will be near the lookout tower (meet at the Welcome Center) and distances will go from about 600 yards to approximately 2,310 yards. There will be 16 stages with multiple engagements per stage (approx. 128 rounds total). We plan to have the first 8 stages on Saturday and the remaining 8 stages Sunday with lunch and awards and prizes immediately afterward. We will provide all meals on Saturday with Breakfast and Lunch provided on Sunday.

ITINERARY FOR REDEMPTION AT THE RANCH - OPEN ELR:
Friday, May 22nd - Check-in and zero from noon-6:00 PM. We will have a fun shoot available. The Zero board will have paper set up. there is steel available to shoot.

SATURDAY, May 23rd - Meet at the Welcome Center at 7:30 for a Safety Briefing and then shuttle to the tower for the match start. Lunch will be provided at the Tower and can be distributed to the squads at the stages. Dinner will be served at about 5:30 pm at the Resort Pavilion.

SUNDAY, May 24th - Meet at the Welcome Center at 7:30 am for daily brief and shuttle to the tower for the remaining stages. Lunch will be provided a the tower and Dinner will be at the Resort Pavilion when complete with awards and prizes during dinner.

• May 25th (Memorial Day, Monday) - Hunter Challenge "Redemption at the Ranch"​
The HUNTER MATCH will be held on Memorial Day, Monday, May 25th at the ranch (meet at the Welcome Center) and distances will go from about 150 yards to 550 yards. There will be 8 stages with four targets per stage. First round impact will be worth 2 points. If hit, move to the next target. If miss, a second round impact is worth 1 point. Light class is up to 12 lbs. and the open class is up to 16 lbs. with a maximum of .30 caliber (approx. 80 rounds total). Lunch provided afterward.​​​​

Thank you again for such a great weekend. We will be back for another shoot. But, we plan on staying 2-3 days before the match and a couple days after to really be able to enjoy your amazing property.
Last weekend I attended their women’s gun retreat. Doug and Drew gave a very informative seminar on gun safety, care, and shooting. Their shooting range is state of the art and facilities are super clean and well outfitted.
